DUANE HALL

I want to inform you of a health issue that I have recently encountered. In October I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. In November, I had CT scans of both the abdomen and the chest and a whole body bone scan. The great news is that all the scans showed no cancer to be present in the rest of my body!! However, some form of treatment needs to be taken. Fran and I met with the urologist in November to establish a treatment plan. The first step will be to surgically remove the prostate on December 18th. Depending on the results from testing the local lymph nodes, further steps such as hormonal and radiation therapy may be taken. Life will definitely be different and interesting in the next few months, but I am sure that I will get through it. To assist me, I will do my best to continue seeing everyone in our Zoom meetings on Tuesday night.

Stillwater Gazette

I'm at a loss for words right now and am deeply heartbroken. One of the greatest men I have ever known and had the privilege of calling "Dad" gained his angel wings today. If heaven has any barbershop quartets, trust me, Jack's singing with them now. Jack True meant the world to me, and to all who ever knew him. He welcomed Russ as a son when Russ and I married. We'd go to visit him, go on vacations with him, and just loved every minute we were blessed to be around him. My heart breaks for his wife, Rosalie, and for my two children who were blessed to call him Grandpa. We were so blessed by him.
